Revell Corsair F4U-4 1:48 Scale Model Kit

The F4U-4 Corsair single-seat Navy fighter was the last propeller-driven fighter made in the United States. Unique in its appearance, the Corsair had an inverted gull wing shape that was designed for Naval carrier operations but was flown from many Pacific theater airstrips by Marine Corps pilots and enjoyed a distinguished postwar combat career in Korea.

Your Revell model comes with actual folding wings, retracting landing gear and doors. Optional armament includes 3 external drop tanks, 2-1000 bombs and 8 under-wing rockets. Decals include VMF-214 "Black Sheep" squadron USS Sicily 1951 and VMA-332 USS Bairoko 1953.
