Re-released Lindberg tanker. January 4, 2017

Since kits of vessels like this are rare to begin with, we should be grateful for any of these older kits reappearing. The molding and detail are what you'd expect from an older kit. But, it builds into a nice model. Just don't bring it to any contests.

I was so glad that the Navy Tanker by Lindberg was released again.  I have not seen it since I was growing up in the late 1950's in the old packaging with the cellophane window.  What memories it brought back to me.  Thank you.

models showed up ok with the paper work but the box was handled by some gorillas in the system. next time secure the box with more tape and reinforcement than needed. box was open before it got to me and my mail carrier had to tape it shut. got the catalog with the paper in it but dont know if any other paper was lost.
