In 1928 George Barris and his older brother Sam moved to Roseville, California and the two started creating “Barris Brothers” custom cars. Barris’ passion and business expanded over the years, garnered the attention of Hollywood, and this led to customizing cars for movies, television, and personal cars for the stars of the time, including Frank Sinatra, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Elvis Presley. The Barris Koach was built from three Model T bodies. The car was decked out with amazing details, including roll steel scrollwork, brass radiator, split radius rods and T-springs. It was an amazing undertaking, given that the scrollwork alone took 500 hours to complete. But Barris pulled it all together in just three weeks - meeting the studio’s deadline.

Munsters Barris Koach March 28, 2019
Reviewer: David Enricco from Peninsula, OH United States
I have both this model and the 1:64 version of the car and believe that the detail is very high of quality as well as very accurate to the show "The Munsters". I reccomend this to anyone that loves this car and the history behind it. George Barris would be proud of this tribute.
It would be great if there was an additional 1:18 version of the Dragula to go with the 1:64 model as well.
Thank You.

Nice diecast very authentic and accurate replica February 9, 2018

I have the Ertyl American Muscle version that I bought in   used/but like new,and displayed in case, dusty,& dirty, but, wheels roll, the front steering still works perfectly, all  doors open  to reveal the red fully carpeted interior .
I re-painted the rear Koach doors in a Tamiya lemon yellow X-8 color!  The movie showed the doors to be either a pale yellow color/ or a darker yellow color. The curtains in the movie are a pale yellow too.
The only thing that Ertyl missed in my opinion was the addition of 5 figures in 1:18 scale seated Herman,  Lily , Grandpa, Eddy & Marilyin . It has a detailed '66 Ford Mustang Cobra jet engine/but,the pipes sit  side ways instead of at a 45 degree angle. Please consider doing a set of Munster family figures & sold as an accessary package at $120.00 /$130.00.
Kudo's to all at Round 2/Auto World/Johnny Lightning!
