Lindberg U.S. Navy Mine Sweeper USS HAZARD 1:125 Scale Model Kit
This re-issue from Lindberg presents the U.S.S. Hazard (AM-240) Admirable-class minesweeper. Minesweepers were used extensively during WWII to escort larger craft as well as patrol duties. The Hazard earned three battle stars during the war where she escorted convoys from San Francisco to Pearl Harbor before sweeping the waters of Okinawa near the war’s end. She also performed post-war duties around Korea and Japan. She now sits as a museum in East Omaha, Nebraska. The kit features every detail of the vessel and includes water slide decals and a pictorial instruction sheet.

Lindberg Civil War Blockade Runner 1:124 Scale Model Kit
The Landing Ship, Tank (LST) was created for amphibious operations during World War II. The LST could carry 300 troops and 60 vehicles and drop them direction on shore without docking. Lindberg Southern Belle Paddle Wheel Steamship 1:64 Scale Model Kit
Behind the great battleships and aircraft carriers of World War II was the bloodline of the U.S. Navy, the fleet oilers. This Kennebec-class Tanker could replenish ships at sea allowing fleets to operate at greater range. These ships could make almost 20 knots to enable them to refuel while underway and without stopping. A few of these tankers continue to fuel American in commercial service today. The plastic model kit is 12” long, includes thread for rigging, and is molded in grey. It requires glue assembly and paint is suggested. A pictorial assembly guide is included.
