Scale Set

The maximum legal weight for a Pinewood Derby® Racer is 5 ounces (141 grams). If you car weighs more than that, your race is over before it's even started. Make sure you're legal with the easy-to-use Pinewood Derby® Scale Kit. Put 25 ordinary quarters (not included) on one end of the scale's balance bar. Set your pine car on the opposite end. Add stick-on weights to the chassis as needed. When the balance bar rests level, your racer is good to go!
